22 Injured In School Bus Crash; Double Shooting In N. Phila; Woman Stabbed To Death In Crescentville

Several people were injured in a school bus crash that took place in Moorestown, Burlington County. The crash happened on Route 38 close to Pleasant Valley Road around 3 pm. Police say that the bus was holding 58 passengers at the time, and a total of 22 people in total were injured. All the victims were taken to JFK in Cherry Hill and are said to be in stable condition.

Philadelphia Police are now investigating a double shooting that left two women dead on Wednesday in the Fairhill section. The shooting took place on the 3000 block of Lawrence Street just past midnight on Wednesday. Police say that the gunmen pulled up next to the two women in a red pick up truck and opened fire, releasing around 20 rounds. The suspects have been identified as 35-year-old Lylliana Mendoza and her step-daughter 19-year-old Aslemarie Torres. Police arrived on the scene to find the car still running and the victims dead inside. Police believe that the shooting may have been a case of mistaken identity because Mendoza was borrowing her friend's truck at the time. Police are now searching for the suspects responsible for the shooting.

Philadelphia Police are now searching for a suspect who brutally murdered a woman by stabbing and hitting her with a hammer. The attack happened on the 5500 of North Hill Creek Drive in Crescentville at around 7 am. Police say that the 57-year-old Rosalind Wick was found dead in her home after she was hit over the head with a hammer and stabbed multiple times in the neck. Wick's pregnant daughter was also in the home as well, but was able to escape. A neighbor tried to help, but the suspect had locked the doors. The suspect then jumped out of the window and fled to what police believe is his uncle's house. The suspect remains at large, and police believe that he may have been under the influence of drugs at the time.
