Police are now investigating a shooting that took place in North Philadelphia that left one man dead. The shooting happened on the 1700 block of North 6th Street at around 7:30 pm. Police arrived on the scene to find the 31-year-old victim who had gunshot wounds to the head, back and shoulder. The man was then rushed to Temple University Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Police are still investigating into the shooting.

Officials in New Jersey are now investigating after a young boy was involved in a farming accident in Lumberton Township. The incident took place on the 300 block of Landing Street at around 5:30 pm on Wednesday. Officials have stated that the 2-year-old boy was struck by a tractor on the farm. The boy was then taken by helicopter to Cooper Medical Center. Reports have come in that the boy's injuries are non-life threatening.

The Pennsylvania Senate is now advancing legislation that would allow school employees to posses a gun on school grounds. The Senate approved the bill 28 votes yes to 22 votes no on Wednesday afternoon after an hour long debate. The supporters of the bill say that they want to give the school district workers all the tools they need to protect children from threats to the schools. Employees who want to carry a gun at their schools must have a concealed carry license, pass a psychological evaluation, and have to meet certain firearm training requirements. The bill still needs approval from the House and from Gov. Tom Wolf, who opposes the bill.
