SEPTA New Regional Rail Schedule; Search For Missing Philly Child; 22 Arrests At Philly

SEPTA has now begun its new modified Regional Rail schedule that went into effect starting on Sunday. SEPTA officials have stated that the new schedule will focus on adjusting the service and time of weekday and weekend trains. The schedule also focuses mainly on trains that operate on Amtrak lines to support the final phase of Positive Train Control. Times for weekday and Saturday trains will be adjusted either departing earlier or later than in previous schedules. Many significant changes to Saturday and Sunday trains will be in effect for Chestnut Hill East, Media/ Elwyn, Lansdale/Doylestown, Paoli/Thorndale and West Trenton Regional Rail Lines. Philadelphia Police are now searching for an 8-year-old boy who has gone missing from the Grays Ferry section of Philadelphia. Police say that the boy was last seen with his stepfather at around 2 pm on Sunday at his home on the 2600 block of Earp Street. The child is said to be a black male, 4' 5", 105 pounds and has short curly hair. The boy was last seen wearing pajamas with smiley faces, baseballs and basketballs. Anyone with any information regarding the child is asked to contact Philadelphia Police.

Philadelphia Police arrested 22 people on Saturday at a massive "pot party" that was held in the Frankford section of Philadelphia. The party took place in a warehouse on the 4500 block of Worth Street. Police say that the party was organized over social media. The party was described by police as a giant gathering of people smoking and selling pot. Around 19 males and 3 females were taken into custody and police say that nearly 175 others were let go without any charges. Police recovered around 50 pounds of marijuana from the party as well as 100 pounds of THC infused edibles, 4 handguns and around $50,000 cash.
