Philadelphia police Arrested 22 people and confiscated large amounts of marijuana following the bust of a "smokeasy" pot party in a Kensington warehouse last night. The "Philly Smoke Session" was organized on social media and held on the 4500 block of Worth Street. Nineteen males and four females were arrested. 175 others were released without being charged. Authorities confiscated 50 pounds of marijuana, $50,000 cash, four guns, and 100 pounds of edibles such as THC-laced gummy bears. Two other simultaneous search warrants were executed in other areas of the city and turned up additional contraband. The police also said the scene was a fire hazard due to the crowd size, use of butane torches, and lack of exits.

The event was organized by marijuana activist N.A. Poe. This event has been held before in other venues in the city. Tickets cost $50. Vendors come to showcase their wares whether it's regular buds, oils, or edibles. The event also attracts medical marijuana patients looking for cannabis in the right form for them. Pennsylvania's system is still far away from servicing these patients. People buy, sell, trade, barter, and gift. On Sunday, activists took to the streets outside of Philadelphia police headquarters to protest the bust and the arrests.

A man fell while working on the roof of the temporary NFL Draft stage being built on the Art Museum steps on Saturday. It happened just after 2:30 pm. The man fell 30 ft from the scaffolding located on Eakins Oval. He was taken by medics to Hahnemann University Hospital. He is in stable condition. No word on what led up to the fall. The stage construction and other preparations are being made along the Ben Franklin Parkway for the NFL Draft which starts on Thursday.

A small earthquake rattled Lancaster County, Pennsylvania this afternoon. The epicenter was about 3 miles south of Millersville. The USGS says it happened just before 5 pm and was a 2.3 magnitude quake. The service received about 200 calls from around the county from people who felt it. No damage was reported.
