Body Found In Schuylkill River; SEPTA Expands Key Kiosks; Teen Found Bound And Bruised

Pennsylvania State Police are now investigating after a body was found along the Schuylkill River in Berks County. The body was found by a group of kayakers on Sunday just before 2 pm near Gibraltar Road in Exeter Township. Police say that the kayakers were searching for a 26-year-old man, Bradley Verret who was last seen in Reading over a month ago. Authorities have stated that the body found does not match the description of Verret. The victim found is said to be a white male in his 50's or 60's. Investigators believe that they are considering the case as a possible suicide, but are continuing an investigation.

SEPTA has now announced they are going to expand their high tech payment collection system to more locations around the city. Any riders who want to buy a SEPTA Key, can now buy them at 10 stations in Philadelphia. SEPTA's plan is to have a SEPTA Key kiosk at every station along the Market-Frankford, and Broad Street lines over the next two weeks. Customers can put up to $250 on their card, and another perk of the key is that if it gets lost it doesn't lose its value because they can be registered online and can be transferred to a new card.

Philadelphia Police are now investigating after a 16-year-old autistic boy was found bound and bruised in the Mantua section of Philadelphia. The boy was found by police between two row-homes on the 800 block of North 42nd Street, after he was heard yelling for help at around 11 am on Sunday. The boy was found out in the freezing temperatures, bound by his feet with bruises on his wrists. The boy was taken to The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia where he is now listed in stable condition. Police are still investigating to find who is responsible for injuring the teen.
