Police are now investigating a stabbing that took place in the Logan section of Philadelphia on Wednesday night. The stabbing took place on 4800 block of North 10th Street at around 6:16 pm. The victim was stabbed twice on the left side of his back as well as once on his right side. Police then rushed him to Einstein Medical Center where he is listed in critical condition. So far no arrests have been made, and police are still searching for the suspect.

The former Trump Taj Mahal Casino in Atlantic City is now being sold to the company that owns the Hard Rock Café. Ichan Enterprise L.P., the company that owns Trump Taj Mahal, announced on Wednesday that they have entered an agreement to sell the casino to a group of investors from Hard Rock International. IEP stated that the sale does not include the Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City because the company wants to continue hold on to that casino and put it up for sale. IEP will continue to operate the Tropicana in Atlantic City. Hard Rock plans to develop the former Taj Mahal into a Hard Rock Casino and Hotel.

A Philadelphia teacher, George Bezanis, from Central High School raised thousands of dollars to put up a billboard that shames city officials. The billboard is located going southbound on I-95 near the Girard Avenue exit in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia. The sign says "Welcome to Philadelphia, where we don't value our public school children," it also includes pictures of Mayor Jim Kenney, Philadelphia's School Superintendent William Hite, as well as William Green of the School Reform Commission . Bezanis says the sign is up to remind officials of their obligation to the underfunded public schools, he also stated he is still fighting for a fair contract. The spokesman for the Philadelphia School District stated that "they are trying to work out a fiscally responsible teachers contract that puts the students of Philadelphia first."
