The only confirmed American injured in the deadly New Year's Eve attack in Istanbul, Turkey is a Delaware Valley native. 35-year-old Jacob Raak, a small business owner from Greenville, Delaware, was shot in the leg. The bullet first hit his cell phone taking some of the brunt. Raak was in Turkey celebrating his birthday with friends. They were inside the Reina nightclub when a shooter opened fire just after 1:00 a.m. local time. 39 people were killed and nearly 70 others were injured. The shooter is still on the loose. ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack saying, "In continuation of the blessed operations which ISIS carries out against Turkey, a soldier of the brave caliphate attacked one of the most popular nightclubs while Christians were celebrating their holiday." Raak, originally from Chadds Ford, PA, is coming home Tuesday evening.

It was announced back in October that the building housing the legendary live music venue Tin Angel and restaurant Serano was being sold. Serrano has been serving food in that location since 1985. The Tin Angel opened upstairs in 1992. Owner Donal McCoy is selling the building on S. 2nd Street in Old City but says he plans to reopen the Tin Angel in a new location sometime this year. The final show will be on February 4th. Singer-songwriter Ben Vaughn, who played the very first show there, asked to play the last. The landmark room has been a hallmark stop for singer-songwriters both locally and nationally. The intimate atmosphere and sound attracted many fans over the years. McCoy has apparently found a new space somewhere north of the current spot and is in negotiations. He was looking to double the size of 119-seat original without losing the charm.

Two people were injured and one man is facing charges after a dispute at a mobile home park in New Jersey on Friday night. It happened in the Atlantic Gardens community in Egg Harbor Township. Police say that 45-year-old Shawn Delgado stabbed 45-year-old Stacy Ward in the chest multiple times during an argument inside a residence. 53-year-old Kurt Stine was attacked when he tried to intervene. The two were taken to the hospital to be treated for non life-threatening injuries. Delgado has been charged with aggravated assault, criminal restraint, false imprisonment and weapons offenses. Bail is set at $200,000 cash.

Police are investigating a deadly shooting in North Philadelphia on Monday morning. It happened after 8:30 a.m. in the 2800 block of N. Park Ave. A 23-year-old man was shot four times including in the head and neck. He was taken to Temple University Hospital where he died. No arrests have been made. Police are investigating.
