The Eagles were able to get a win in Thursday night's game against the Giants. The Eagles beat the Giants 24-19, preventing them from clinching a playoff spot. Last night's game broke the Eagles 5 game losing streak and brought their record to 6-9. The Giants loss also gave Dallas the NFC East Title and a home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. New York can still make it to the playoffs if Detroit, Green Bay, Tampa Bay, or Atlanta loses. Malcolm Jenkins had his second career two-interception game, running one of the interceptions in for a touchdown. Lane Johnson's return to the Eagles also helped bring an advantage to the team. Twice during the game Johnson wiped out the left side of the New York defense, one of the times allowing RB Darren Sproles in for a touchdown. Next up for the Eagles is their season ender against Dallas.

Eagles RB Ryan Matthews suffered a herniated disk in his neck on Thursday night against the Giants. Eagles Head Coach Doug Pederson stated that the injury is "a pretty major deal" Pederson stated "I don't think it's career[-threatening], I don't have all the information. What I got from our doctors this morning is that it looks like surgery is in the near future. It just has to get fixed." Matthews took a handoff on Thursday night's game and dove forward colliding with Giants' defensive tackle Damon Harrison, which injured his neck. Pederson stated that Matthews will not be playing in the final game against Dallas as they look into possible surgery.

The Flyers lost in an upset (0-4) Thursday night to the New Jersey Devils. The Flyers have won 11 out of the last 13 games they have played, while the Devils have just gotten off a seven game losing streak, five of them with the other team in a three goal lead. The Flyers managed to get 16 shots on goal during the game, which is their lowest recorded in two years. During the game Flyers' Michael Raffl suffered a lower body injury and will be out for the next 1-2 weeks. Next up the Flyers take on the Blues this upcoming Wednesday.
