Police are investigating a crash in Gloucester County, NJ, involving seven vehicles and a tractor trailer. Eight people were injured when a tractor trailer hauling a tanker of waste water slammed into the back of a line of cars sitting at a stand still on the road. It happened just before 8:30 a.m. on Rt. 130 in Logan Township. After a preliminary investigation, police believe the truck driver failed to stop for traffic that was stalled on the road way. The driver was issued a summons for reckless driving. There were no fatalities. The injured were taken to Crozer Chester Medical Center and Cooper University Hospital.

A World War II veteran from Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, passed away on Sunday. Sgt. William J Mohr of Hatboro was 108-years-old. Mohr was surrounded by his family, caregivers, an Irish priest from his family’s home town and Santa. He was born in Philadelphia on October 22, 1908. He joined the Army in 1940. Mohr served in North Africa, Italy, France and Germany. Last month, he was a guest at the 2016 Veterans Day Breakfast at the White House where he met President Obama. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to Veterans of Foreign Wars Foundation, 406 West 34th Street, Kansas City, MO 64111. A 21-year-old man is now facing charges in the death of a 2-year-old boy in Kensington. Rimear Custis is charged with murder, involuntary manslaughter, and endangering the welfare of a child. Earlier this month police responded to the 600 block of E. Clementine. 2-year-old Zyair Worrell appeared to be lethargic. He was taken to the hospital where he later died. The medical examiner determined the boy suffered a large laceration to his liver, bruising on his chest, a bruised ear, an abrasion over his eye and tested positive for THC, the active ingredient in marijuana. His mother, 23-year-old Andrea Worrell, was charged earlier this month with endangering the welfare and obstructing justice.

Fire broke out in Peddler's Village in Bucks County last night. Firefighters responded to the shopping district in Lahaska, PA, around 6:30 p.m. The fire had engulfed one building that houses the Nut Kettle and St. Jude's. It was brought under control by 7 p.m. No injuries were reported. No other businesses were affected and the rest of Village is open for business in these last few days before Christmas.
