An assistant city solicitor who was captured on surveillance video late on Thanksgiving night during an act of anti-Trump vandalism will not face criminal charges and will not lose his job. 32-year-old Daniel Lloyd was seen wearing a blue blazer and khakis while holding a glass of wine while a second person spray painted "F@#$ Trump" and made other indiscriminate markings on the Fresh Grocer store in Chestnut Hill shortly after midnight on November 25th. Lloyd is an attorney in the City Solicitor's office of the Philadelphia Law Department. First Deputy City Solicitor Craig Straw said he learned on Saturday that no charges will be filed. The law department did find his actions to be 'inappropriate' and Lloyd has been on a two-week leave without pay. He will also have to complete 40 hours of community service with the Community Life Improvement Program (CLIP) with its Graffiti Abatement Team. He will not lose his job.

Philadelphia Police are investigating after three women were stabbed overnight in Kensington. It happened around 1:30 a.m. Saturday on the 1800 block of Hart Lane near Kensington Avenue. One 19-year-old woman was stabbed twice in the head and the arm. Another 19-year-old woman was stabbed in the head. A 24-year-old woman was stabbed in the shoulder. They were taken to the hospital in stable condition. No arrests have been made.

An armed man was shot and killed on Saturday while breaking into a home in Chester, Delaware County. It happened at 1 p.m. on the 800 block of Upland Street. The suspect apparently broke into home and was holding a gun. The homeowner opened fire and hit the intruder, killing him. There were no other reported injuries. The incident is still under investigation.

A Wilmington firefighter who lost her life in the line of duty was mourned today. 48-year-old Senior Firefighter Ardythe Hope died last week from injuries suffered fighting a fire in September. Over a thousand people came out to pay their respects to Hope at the Chase Center on the Riverfront. Hope was posthumously promoted to the rank of lieutenant. She was also awarded the medal of honor and the individual valor accommodation. Two other officers also died in that September 24th fire, which was determined to have been intentionally set. Hope suffered her injuries trying to rescue Lt. Jerry Fickes and Capt. Christopher Leach who did not make it. The woman accused of the arson will face an additional charge of first-degree murder.
