Philadelphia officials have released new information in connection with the Rittenhouse Square mail bombing last month. Police showed photos taken from surveillance footage of a person-of-interest who dropped off the explosive package. On November 22nd, 62-year-old Jim Alden opened the package in his kitchen on the 1800 block of Pine Street in Center City and triggered the explosion. He suffered severe injuries and shrapnel damage to his face, chest, and arms. The package was addressed specifically to him and wired to explode upon opening. The ATF confirmed that is was a homemade device and police believe that Alden was targeted. They do not have a motive. A $10,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and conviction of those responsible. Authorities are asking the public's help in identifying the person in the photos and video. They believe the person is Asian, late teens to early 30's, unknown height, male or female. Anyone with information is asked to cal 215-686-TIPS. Watch video of the person-of-interest below:

A South Jersey man has been charged with several cases of vandalism in South Philadelphia early in the morning after Election Night last month. 58-year-old William Tucker of Lawnside (pictured below) was arrested on November 22nd after police got a tip from a caller. He was caught on surveillance cameras on the 900 block of South 6th Street around 5 a.m. on November 9th. Tucker was spray painting messages such as "Trump Rules" and "Black Bitch" on cars and houses. He is charged with four counts of criminal mischief and was released on his own recognizance.

Police have now ruled the death of a 2-year-old boy in Kensington on Tuesday night a homicide. The medical examiner's investigation discovered the child had a lacerated liver and bruises to his chest and eye. The boy also tested positive for THC, the active chemical in marijuana. Police arrived on the 600 block of East Clementine Street just before midnight on Tuesday and found the boy's mother and boyfriend standing outside holding the unresponsive child. He was taken to St. Christopher's Hospital and was pronounced dead a couple hours later. No arrests have been made yet, but police are still investigating.
