A 20-year-old student at Drexel University was arrested on Wednesday for operating a drone over a protest in Center City Philadelphia. Joseph Roselli has been charged with Aggravated Assault, Causing/Risking Catastrophe, Simple Assault, and Recklessly Endangering Another Person. A group of a few hundred people were demonstrating in Center City during the evening rush yesterday. Officials noticed a drone flying above the crowd. It came dangerously close to police and news helicopters circling the crowd in the air. Police helicopters followed it back to the Evo Building at Cira Center South at 2930 Market Street in University City. The drone landed on the roof of the building next to the operator. SWAT responded and took Roselli into custody. The drone was also recovered.

Authorities have captured a man who allegedly stabbed his ex-girlfriend to death inside her Burlington County home earlier this week. 38-year-old Rashon Causey of Burlington City was taken into custoday Wednesday evening inside a residence on the 100 block of Elm Avenue. He is charged with first-degree murder, second-degree aggravated assault, burglary, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, among other related charges. He is accused of killed 37-year-old Shanai Marshall. It happened just before midnight on Monday. Causey allegedly forced his way into her home on the unit block of Monroe Street in Mt. Holly and stabbed her several times. She was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton but later died on Wednesday. The two share a child together. His bail was set at $1,050,000, no 10 percent.

Running a 8k college cross country race is tough, and unlike your friendly neighborhood 5k, there's usually some contact when jockeying for position. However, this past weekend at the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional Cross Country Championships in Center Valley, PA, some of the locals decided to turn the aggression up to full contact. At one point during the race held at DeSales University, a herd of deer sprinted across the field and through the line of runners. Someone in the crowd shouted, "Watch out for the deer!" but it was too late. One deer collided with Gwynedd Mercy University senior Justin DeLuzio, sending the runner flying head over heels off the course. The deer got up and kept going. DeLuzio was helped up by a teammate and finished the race. He suffered a few bruises but is otherwise fine. The whole thing was captured on video. Next year maybe they'll start issuing pads and helmets with the racing spikes. Watch below:
