Twin brothers in Chester County have been sentenced to six to 23 months in prison and 5 years probation during which they are barred from contact with each other. Daniel and Caleb Tate plead guilty to arson and misdemeanor retail theft charges. Last December while home from college, they detonated homemade pipe bombs, blowing up five different targets in Lancaster and Chester Counties. Those included an Amish phone shed, a produce shed, a mailbox, and a well pump shed. They apologized at their sentencing.

Two teens have been arrested and more are sought after a flash mob attack in Center City over the weekend. Six people were injured including an off-duty police officer and his wife. It happened around 6 pm on Saturday near 16th and Walnut. A large group of teens started attacking random people on the street. The detective was punched in the face and suffered a broken eye socket when he tried to intervene. His wife was also hit. Two 16-year-old were arrested. Police are looking at sureveillance footage for other suspects.

Penn Police along with the FBI conducted an investigation to determine to origin of the messages. One of the Oklahoma residents is a student at the University of Oklahoma. That university's president issued a statement condemning the act and saying the student has been suspending immediately. Penn officials say that no Penn student was involved.
