An American Airlines flight was delayed at Philadelphia International Airport on Tuesday after there was a report that a banned phone was on board. Passengers aboard Flight #2051 from Philly to Miami were taken off the plane and re-screened. The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 phone is banned on all U.S. flights and has been recalled by Samsung because the risk of explosion and fire. No phone was found and the passengers were allowed to re-board. The flight was delayed approximately 2 hours. It was originally supposed to take off at 10 a.m. The Note 7 has caused fires on planes before. Most recently on October 6th, a passenger's recall replacement Note 7 started to smoke just before takeoff on a Southwest flight from Louisville to Baltimore.

79-year-old entertainer Bill Cosby is back in court today in Montgomery County for a series of pre-trial motions in connection to sex assault charges brought against the comedian. The prosecution wants the judge to allow 13 other woman to testify that they were similarly assaulted by Cosby to establish a signature pattern and history of attacks. The defense argues the women's stories are inconsistent, unreliable, and influenced by the media. The defense is asking the judge to thrown out a 2005 civil deposition given regarding the case because a former DA promised never to prosecute. In another motion they are asking for the case to be dismissed entirely because Cosby's rights have been violated for taking so long to prosecute. Four days have been set aside this week to hear these motions.
