Woman Stabbed To Death in Darby, Wells Fargo CEO Resigns, Cosby Loses Appeal Attempt

Darby police are now searching for a suspect who is responsible for stabbing a woman to death in her home. The stabbing took place in the victim;s home on the 500 block of Spruce Street in Darby. Police identified the victim as 51-year-old Diane Hart. She was found with multiple stab and slash wounds to the head, neck and chest. Investigators say that Hart was most likely killed sometime overnight Saturday into Sunday. Police are now searching for the suspect and say they have do have a person of interest in mind.

Wells Fargo CEO John Stumpf resigned Wednesday, which takes into effect immediately. Stumpf's resignation is due to the bank being under heat because of their latest sales practice scandal. The bank has been under investigation after employees were found opening millions of bank accounts in customer's names without their permission. Stumpf has also had to give up his title as chairman. Stumpf had been the CEO of Wells Fargo since 2007. Wells Fargo's chief operating officer, Tim Sloan, will now take over as CEO.

Bill Cosby has lost his latest attempt to have his sexual assault charges appealed in Pennsylvania. The Superior Court denied Cosby's appeal after his lawyers tried to argue stating that the Cosby's accuser, Andrea Constand, should have testified at the prelimnary trial so that they could talk with her about the case. Cosby's trial is set for June in the suburbs of Philadelphia on charges that he drugged and sexually assaulted Constand in 2004.
