Body of Missing NJ Woman Found; Jewelry Heist at Philadelphia Mills; PLCB Wine Rules Take Effect

The body of a New Jersey mother who has been missing for months has been found and two people are under arrest. 41-year-old Tyrita Julius of Linden had been missing since March 8th when her friend, 33-year-old Jennifer Sweeney, supposedly dropped her off at the Long Branch train station. On Tuesday, Julius' body was found wrapped in a tarp and buried in the Long Branch backyard of 32-year-old Andre Harris. Both Sweeney and Harris have been charged with first-degree murder, desecration of human remains and tampering with physical evidence. Julius had been recovering from being shot 8-times in an attack last November while she was entering her car. Authorities have charged Sweeney and Harris in that incident as well. There is no word on Harris' relationship to the women.

Philadelphia Police are investigating a robbery at Philadelphia Mills in Northeast Philadelphia, formerly Franklin Mills. It happened around 10:30 a.m. in the Zales jewelry store at 1700 Philadelphia Mills Circle. Three men with sledge hammers broke into the store and smashed display cases. They grabbed an unknown amount of gold and diamond rings. They were last seen running through the mall and exiting near Dave and Buster's. They fled in a silver or blue hatchback, possibly a Kia or Toyota. Police are waiting to review surveillance video from inside the mall. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.

The Pennsylvania Liquor Control board has issued the first 84 permits for wine-to-go under the overhauled state liquor laws signed this past June. Establishments that have restaurant licenses to sell wine for consumption on premises can apply for the new license to sell take-out wine. Those approved include restaurants as well as grocery stores and other businesses. In addition, this week marks the beginning of direct ship wine. Pennsylvanians will be allowed to get 36 9-liter cases per year per wine shipper shipped directly to their homes from approved shippers. So far 5 licenses have been approved.
