Philadelphia Police are looking for a man they say beat and raped a woman in Kensington. Detectives say a man riding his bike grabbed a woman and beat her until she became unconscious. When she woke up, she was lying naked in the back of a property on Jasper Street, near Castor Avenue. Investigators say it happened on July 12th, around 12:30 in the morning. The victim had severe injuries to her head and face and was taken the hospital. Officials say the suspect is in his 30s and was riding a blue and black mountain bike with a head light or reflector, wearing a two tone back pack. Anyone with information is asked to call police.

A weird-looking fish carcass was discovered last Saturday in a bay north of Atlantic City. With its giant oval platter shape, and surprised, open mouthed expression, the Mola Mola, also known as ocean sunfish, looks like it could be a Pokemon. In fact, it is one, called Alomomola. The no longer animated Mola Mola was found floating in Reed's Bay. Rutgers Marine Field Station Director Dr. Ken Able says that's not its natural habitat: "It is a common fish along the East Coast of the US, and even into Canadian waters, even down to the Caribbean, but it's found in the ocean, it's usually not found inshore." With no discernible tail and two elongated fins, the 6 foot long 7 foot tall Mola Mola looks like a swimming giant head. Able thinks the New Jersey specimen shuffled off its mortal coil out at sea, and was carried in on the current.

Gloucester Township Police are crediting a drug bust, which included the recovery of 285 bags of heroin, to enhanced proactive bike patrols. Township officials say officers were conducting patrols near the Gloucester Township Health and Fitness Trail behind 832 N. Black Horse Pike. Officials say they saw a dark colored Toyota Corolla parked in the lot of the Howard Johnson, in a space near a wooded area. Police say a woman was walking to and from the car to rooms and would knock on doors, addressing the occupants. Police observed as the car moved to a different spot in the complex and the observed behavior continued. Officers decided to approach the vehicle where a man and woman were found inside. The driver was identified as Dominic Roach. Police say the odor of marijuana was coming from the passenger area of the car. Police investigated and recovered the bags of heroin, 2 vials of marijuana, 20 small vials of cocaine and 15 small vials of cocaine (powder), $940 and drug paraphernalia. The women in the car was identified as Tonya Henson. The pair was arrested and both were charged with 2nd degree distribution among other drug related charges.
