Father Gets Free Gift of Transportation for Olympics; DUI Arrest in Philly; London's Knife Attack

Thanks to an Uber ride with Liz Willock and people who came together online to fund his trip, a Delaware County, Pennsylvania, father is flying to Brazil to watch his son go for gold in the 2016 Olympics. Ellis Hill from Darby drove Willock from the airport to Cherry Hill and told her about his Olympic son. When she heard he couldn't make the trip, she offered to take care of everything. A gofundme page was created and all travel arrangements made through her global concierge company. He will now be able to see his son, Darrell, compete in the shot put for the U.S. Olympic Track & Field Team.

A man was recently arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after driving into a Philadelphia home on the 6400 block of Algon Avenue. Authorities say the incident took place around 7:00 p.m. The man lost control of the car and landed on the lawn of the property before striking the house. The driver suffered bruises to his arms and legs. No one else was injured.

One person was killed and five others were injured in London after a knife attack in central London's Russell Square. A suspect has been detained, authorities say. Police were called around 10:33 p.m. Wednesday after hearing reports of a man "seen in possession of a knife injuring people." The man was arrested when police arrived at the scene. Police did not give a motive but said, "terrorism is one possibility being explored at this stage."
