Unfair 'Hilary Standard'; DNC Updates; SEPTA Stopped Short

Yesterday, Hillary Clinton expressed her feelings after watching the Republican National Convention. She claims that there is an unfair "Hilary standard" on trust and honesty. Not only did she feel "sad" after watching the convention, but she believes it was a great deal of time spent on criticizing her. This "Hilary standard" she complained of makes her feel as if she faces more scrutiny compared to other top-level politicians.

The Democratic National Convention kicked off on July 25 in Philadelphia, a week after the Republican National Convention was held in Cleveland. City officials expect thousands of protesters, delegates, and members of the media to be in Philly for the four-day event. The convention is expected to last until July 28th. Last night, performers Eva Longoria, Boyz II Men, and Demi Lovato were among the many who participated in the opening night program For DNC. Additional speakers will continue to be announced throughout the convention.

Monday afternoon, SEPTA announced a change to service on the Broad Street Line as a result of the Democratic National Convention. SEPTA announced that the service on the line will stop short of the AT&T Station due to “DNC security actions.” The secret service decided that SEPTA will temporarily run south as far as the Oregon Station. No exact time has been revealed for how long the change will be in place and there is no further information available on why it was done. UPDATE: Full service has been restored to the southbound BSL.
