At least 9 people have been killed and more injured after several gunmen opened fire near a shopping mall in Munich, Germany, on Friday evening. German police are looking for three gunman, who are still on the loose, after gunfire erupted at a McDonald's across the street from the Olympia-Einkaufszentrum Shopping Mall around 6 p.m. local time. Shots were also fired inside the mall. The immediate area was locked down, including public transportation, as authorities seek to capture the suspects, and people were told to stay indoors. Police say that it 'looks like a terror attack' but they have not officially determined a motive.

UPDATE 8 p.m. EDT: Munich police tweeted that they found the body of a man who killed himself and that they believe that man to be the lone shooter. They announced a 'cautious all clear' for the city.

UPDATE 10:30 p.m. EDT: The attacker has been identified as an 18-year-old German-Iranian man who had lived in Munich for more than two years. The motive is still not exactly clear.

A woman accused of stealing thousands of dollars of coffee from Wawa stores and returning the bags of coffee to other locations for cash has turned herself in to police. 48-year-old Rebecca Julian of Wilmington, DE, surrendered to West Goshen Township Police in Chester County, PA. Julian is accused of stealing ground coffee bags from more than 40 Wawa stores in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland. She would then return the stolen coffee to different Wawa locations for cash refunds. The thefts started in early 2016 and totaled more than $3,000. She turned herself in after seeing her self in surveillance footage on the news.

The Democratic National Convention opens at the Wells Fargo Center in South Philly on Monday, but this weekend kicks off many of the events surrounding the convention. PoliticalFest started Friday morning and runs through next week. It takes place at seven locations around the city with the main location at the Constitution Center. Protestors and demonstrators will start to be seen all over the city with the majority of permits given for FDR Park. Center City businesses are asked to remove non-permitted items from sidewalks. Residents of South Philly are reminded that the PPA will be enforcing the parking ban on the median strip, particularly on Broad Street, as protestors will be making their way down the road each day. Through next week, we can expect excessive heat. There will be some misting locations set up and water available. Make sure you stay hydrated and don't over exert yourself. The I-95 exit ramps to Broad Street will be closed starting 8pm Friday. The roads surrounding the sports complex and FDR park will be closed starting Saturday at noon. Truck traffic on I-95 will be detoured between Penrose Ave and I-676 also starting Saturday at noon.

Tonight,
Excessive Heat Warning through the weekend, Partly Cloudy, temperatures in the low 90's/upper 80's this evening in Center City
