Philadelphia Police are searching for two juvenile suspects wanted for tormenting a homeless man by throwing rocks at him. It happened around 10 p.m. on May 29th at the TD Bank on the 2600 block of South 5th Street. The 42-year-old was seeking shelter from the rain in the vestibule of the ATM when the two male suspects opened the glass door and began to pelt him with rocks and ram him with a shopping cart. They ran away but returned later with more rocks and assaulted the man again as he was curled up in the corner. The victim was treated at Methodist Hospital for minor cuts to the head and neck pain. He is in stable condition. The entire incident was caught on video and has been released by police. Anyone with information is asked to contact Philadelphia Police at 215.686.TIPS (8477) or text a tip to PPD TIP or 773847.

Rep. Chaka Fattah announced today that he is now resigning immediately. Yesterday he sent a letter to House Speaker Paul Ryan indicating that he would resign on October 3rd, the day before his sentencing on racketeering charges, but today he changed his mind and wrote “upon reflection, I hereby make my resignation effective immediately.” Fattah came under pressure to resign from Ryan and other house leaders after his conviction on 22-counts including racketeering, fraud, and money laundering. He was a member of Congress since 1995, but lost his bid for a 12th term at the May primary. Governor Wolf has the decision to call for a special election to fill the seat.

A Los Angeles jury determined that the opening riff to Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven was in fact not stolen from Spirit's Taurus. The trust for the late Randy Craig Wolfe, aka Randy California, filed the suit two years ago claiming that Robert Plant and Jimmy Page copied the notes from the California psychedelic band's instrumental tune of 1968. Of course, 1972's Stairway to Heaven is one of the most recognizable and successful rock songs ever. The plaintiffs sought a songwriting credit and compensation. The jury deliberated for 5 hours after days of testimony including that of Page and Plant as well musicology experts from both sides.
