A Philadelphia man is under arrest and charged in connection to a deadly fire at a Bucks County motel fire on Sunday morning. It happened at around 2:30 a.m. at the Lincoln Motel on the 2200 block of Lincoln Highway in Bensalem. 46-year-old Kevin Small is charged with criminal homicide, arson, and other offenses. Authorities say that Small and his girlfriend, 46-year-old Melissa Bacon-Smith of Philadelphia, had an argument. Small left the room and bought a cup of gasoline from the Wawa across the street. When he returned, he threw the gas in her face as she was smoking and then left. He was found nearby with burns on his hands. Others at the motel were taken to Aria Torresdale to be treated for smoke inhalation and non life-threatening injuries. Small told reporters on Sunday afternoon as he was being led into court that he was sorry and just lost it. He was denied bail during his arraignment.

An 18-year-old has been arrested after he was caught throwing railroad spikes and rocks from an overpass in University City onto cars passing below. Blake Bowers of Montgomery Avenue is charged with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment of another person. It happened at 8:20 p.m. on Friday on the 600 block of University Avenue in West Philadelphia at a 40 ft. high railroad overpass just before I-76. Four vehicles were damaged and one driver was injured as the iron spikes pierced windshields and shattered glass. One driver pulled over and was able to see the defendant up on the tracks before police stopped him. They found 3 spikes, 2 railroad clamps, and a rock.

President Barack Obama delivered the commencement speech at Rutgers University on Sunday. It's the first time the sitting US President has spoken at the school in it's 250 year history. Obama has spoken at Howard University this year already and will speak at the Air Force Academy June 2nd. That will mark his 24th and final commencement as President. Around 300 graduating Rutgers-Camden students took special NJ Transit trains decorated in red to New Brunswick to hear the address. Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump and Vice President Joe Biden and their families were both at Franklin Field in Philadelphia this afternoon for graduation ceremonies for the University of Pennsylvania School of Arts and Sciences. They were not speaking but rather in the audience. The GOP candidate's daughter Tiffany Trump and the VP's granddaughter Naomi Biden were both graduating. Trump, himself, graduated from Penn (Wharton) in 1968
