In advance of the full autopsy, the medical examiner says that Bobbi Kristina Brown's face being immersed in water, along with drug intoxication, led to her death last year. The 22-year-old daughter of singers Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown was found face-down and unresponsive in a bathtub in her suburban Atlanta townhome Jan. 31, 2015, and died in hospice care July 26. The medical examiner's office said it reviewed medical records, investigative files and other documents to determine how Brown likely died. Marijuana and alcohol were involved in the death, along with medications used for sedation or to treat anxiety, the medical examiner's office said. The Fulton County Medical Examiner's office in Atlanta released the statement on the death as it prepares to release the full autopsy report.

A 30-year-old southern New Jersey man has admitted to his role in a scam that gave phony sports jerseys to prizewinners on the Wildwood boardwalk. Evan Strothers pleaded guilty to conspiring to traffic counterfeit goods between 2010 and 2012. Strothers' brother, Brett, also pleaded guilty to the same charge last month. The Strothers brothers bought 17,000 fake jerseys and gave them away as prizes at their three outposts along Wildwood's boardwalk. The brothers were arrested after Brett Strothers purchased several counterfeit jerseys from an undercover agent at a rest stop on the Garden State Parkway. They both face up to 10 years in prison and a maximum fine of $2 million.

The Philadelphia Flower Show blooms tomorrow. This year's theme is "Explore America," celebrating the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service with floral displays re-creating many of the 408 diverse parks it operates. The 188th iteration of the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society's famed bloom festival runs tomorrow through March 13th. Beginning at a rustic welcome center called Big Timber Lodge, guests can explore 10 acres of trails that lead to, for instance, a lava flow of orchids representing Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park. A selection of sea grass and other nautical accoutrements indigenous to the New England coast bring to life Cape Cod National Seashore. Philadelphia's own Independence National Historical Park gets a nod, too, with a 12-foot-diameter Liberty Bell made out of red, white, and blue petals and moss.
