Camden County police say they are searching for a missing brother and sister, ages 1 and 3. They believe the children were taken by their mother. Javaughn Ossario and Kenya Ossario were reported missing Monday night. Police believe the children were taken by their mother, Kenya Garrett , who is known to frequent the Ferry Station apartments, Pfieffer Street, Kaighn Avenue and South 4th Street. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of these children and/or their mother is asked to immediately call the CCPD tip line at (856) 757-7042. Police describe both as being approximately 1 foot tall and weighing between 30 and 32 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Javaughn was last seen wearing blue jeans, a gray thermal shirt, black RVX sneakers and a blue, white and red checkered coat. Javaughn also has a birthmark near his left nostril. Kenya was last seen wearing long gray jeans with ruffles, a pink shirt with a black flower, black ACG boots and a pink bubble coat with white fur.

Punxatawney Phil says Spring will come early. The handlers of Pennsylvania's most famous groundhog, say the furry rodent did not see his shadow this morning, which means he's "predicted" an early spring. German legend has it that if a furry rodent sees his shadow on Feb. 2, winter will last another six weeks. If not, spring comes early. Records going back to 1887 show Phil has predicted more winter 102 times while forecasting an early spring just 18 times. In reality, Phil's prediction is decided ahead of time by the group on Gobbler's Knob. The tiny hill is located just outside the town for which he's named about 65 miles northeast of Pittsburgh.
In the investigation of last year’s deadly Amtrak train wreck, the National Transportation Safety Board has found no smoking guns in the crash documents. The engineer on Amtrak Train 188 remembers speeding up, he remembers a curve in Philadelphia that can "sneak up," and he remembers his body lurching as the locomotive entered the bend much too fast just before it derailed last May, killing eight people and injuring more than 200. But the engineer, Brandon Bostian, told investigators that he remembered little about the exact moment the train hurtled off the rails. And he did not explain why it sped to 106 mph as it approached a 50-mph curve, according to transcripts of two interviews released by the National Transportation Safety Board on Monday. When Bostian came to, emergency crews already were pouring into the scene of one of the most devastating rail accidents in recent memory.
