Philadelphia Police have announced the arrest of two teens in the murder of a 16-year-old boy who was riding his bike with a friend in Strawberry mansion earlier this month. 17-year-olds Tyrie Johnson and Raheim Feaster have been arrested and charged in the murder of Saleem West. It happened on November 1st on the 2200 block of West Sedgley Avenue. It stemmed from an ongoing argument between two groups of teenagers from different neighborhoods a few blocks apart. West and a friend who were on their bikes got into an argument with four people in a Buick. Two of them got out of the car and fired 17 shots at the teens. West was hit once in the back and died at the hospital. Johnson and Feaster have been charged as adults with murder, attempted murder, conspiracy and related offenses.

A series of coordinated attacks in Paris late Friday evening have left dozens killed and many more held hostage in a theater. A police official speaking on the condition of anonymity said that 11 were killed in shootings at a restaurant in the 10th district. Possibly many dozens more were killed elsewhere mostly at the Bataclan concert theater. At least 100 people were being held hostage there where American rock band the Eagles of Death Metal were performing before police stormed the hall to free them. Around the same time explosions were heard near the Stade de France stadium. France and Germany were in the middle of a friendly soccer match at the time. A handful of people died in those suicide attacks. French President Francois Hollande has declared a state of emergency and closed the French borders. This is a ongoing and evolving situation.

UPDATE: Authorities discovered a massacre inside the theater. Over 100 could be dead inside. Attackers were killed by police.

UPDATE 12:00 am EST 11/14: At least 153 people have been killed. 6 different sites were attacked. That includes 4 people killed in bombings near the Stade de France. 14 people were shot at the restaurant Petit Cambodge. Four people were killed on Avenue de la République. At least 19 people were killed outside a bar La Belle Équipe on Rue de Charonne. At least 112 were killed by gunmen at the concert hall Bataclan before SWAT stormed in. 8 extremists are dead, 7 of which were killed in suicide bombings. At this point no one has taken credit for the attacks.

UPDATE 1:00 pm EST 11/14: Paris police say death toll is at least 129. 352 people were injured, 99 in critical condition. ISIS has claimed responsibility.

A Philadelphia photographer has been arrested and charged with multiple counts of manufacturing and attempting to manufacture child pornography as well as possession of child pornography. 57-year-old Mark Wilkens of Lawncrest was a longtime volunteer photographer for WXPN's Kids Corner program. He is accused of attempting to capture explicit photographs of young children while at four Kids Corner events held at the Franklin Institute, Morris Arboretum and the Camden Children's Garden between August 2010 and May 2015. The investigation was part of Project Safe Childhood, a coordination between local and federal police. See the indictment below. WXPN released this statement:

“We were shocked and appalled to learn that a photographer who volunteered at WXPN from time to time has been charged with this crime. We have taken this matter extremely seriously and have worked diligently to assist the police with the investigation.”

Tonight,
Clear skies, temperatures in the low 50s/upper 40s this evening in Center City.
