How did Lenny Dykstra walk so much? Former Philadelphia Phillie and New York Met Lenny Dykstra now says he hired spies to help him blackmail gay MLB umpires. Dykstra told interviewer Colin Cowherd that he spent a half-million dollars later in his career hiring private investigators to dig up dirt on umpires who had sex with men, had extramarital sex with women and gambled. Dykstra said he would let umpires know he had this information, sometimes right after they called a strike on him. He claimed the umpires would then shrink the strike zone for him. And that's why he led the league in walks.

According to a report in the Inquirer, Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane's office gained access to the private emails of a state judge - without his permission or knowledge - and offered to provide them to the news media. Kane's representatives obtained copies of Judge Barry Feudale's 2013 email exchanges with Inquirer reporters and his personal lawyers after she successfully pushed for his removal as the judge in charge of a key investigative grand jury. A Kane spokesman denies any knowledge of obtaining or distributing his emails.

Now the bad guys have tasers. SEPTA Transit Police are looking for a man and woman who stole a backpack from a man on the Market Frankford line and exited the train at Millbourne near 69th Street about 12:50 am Sunday. According to surveillance video, there was a physical altercation on the platform. The victim had the male bandit pinned down when the woman tased the victim. The two then pushed his limp body onto the tracks. The victim was able to regain consciousness and get off the tracks. Anyone with information should contact SEPTA.
