The World Meeting of Families announced today that there will be two Papal parades and 1000's of tickets made available to the public. These two announcements come a day after a walking map was released by the Secret Service that showed ticked areas that would make it hard for the general public to get close to Pope Francis in person. 30,000 free tickets for the Benjamin Franklin Parkway and Independence Hall will be made available to the general public online next week – 4 per customer, first come first serve. 10,000 each for Independence Hall, the Festival of Families, and the Papal Mass. They also announced that there will be two Papal parades featuring Pope Francis riding down the parkway in the pope mobile, one on Saturday and one on Sunday. The parades will give most of the pilgrims gathered along the Parkway a chance to catch a glimpse of the Holy Father. WMOF spokeswoman Donna Farrell says, 'Everybody who gathers on the Parkway will have an opportunity to see Pope Francis.' Saturday's parade will be before the Festival of Families and start at Eakins Oval to/around City Hall and back. Sunday's parade will be before the Papal mass. The route is still being worked out, but is expected to be shorter. The WMOF has also released the locations of the 40 Jumbotrons that will be located throughout the City. See the list below

A daycare in New Castle County, Delaware, reopened this afternoon after it was evacuated this morning following a phoned-in bomb threat. Shortly before noon, police responded to the Children of America Daycare on the 1100 block of Valley Road in Hockessin after an unknown caller told the day care they had planted an explosive device and hung up. Everyone was evacuated to a nearby fire station. The County Police Explosive Detection K-9 positively identified a possible explosive but the New Castle County Explosive Ordinance Disposal Unit determined that there were no explosives present. The building was cleared and reopened. The investigation continues. Anyone with information is asked to contact New Castle County Police.

A Delaware County man has been arrested and charged with stealing almost $700,000 from his former employer over 13 years. 53-year-old Jeffrey McElwee of Essington faces multiple charges including theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and theft by deception and false impersonation. His employer, John Jenzano of Power Source Repair in Collingdale, contacted the Delaware County DA in February when he discovered that McElwee had stolen $122,184.50 over a four year period through unauthorized ATM transactions. The DA's office discovered that he had also written checks to himself totaling $574,447.19 dating back to 2002 at the start of his employment. The total stolen was $696,631.69. McElwee acted as the company bookkeeper. He is being held on 10% of $100,000 bail.
