Four Marines Killed, Shooter ID'd; PATCO Papal Visit Passes; Radnor Man Arrested For Child Porn

Four marines were killed in attacks on two separate military facilities a few miles apart in Chattanooga, TN, on Thursday by a lone gunman. The gunman was killed during a shootout at the second facility. He has been identified as 24-year-old Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez, a naturalized US citizen from Kuwait. It began at 10:45 a.m. at a military recruitment station. The gunman drove up and opened fire, riddling the glass door with 30-50 shots. A marine and police officer were injured. He then drove off about 6 miles to the Navy Operational Support Center and Marine Corps Reserve Center when he opened fire again with the automatic weapon. The four marines were killed at this location. The entire incident took about 30 minutes. The FBI is still investigating a possible motive.

PATCO will start selling special Freedom cards on Monday online and at the Broadway station for the Papal visit to Philadelphia. A one-day pass will cost $5 and a two-day pass will cost $10 for September 26th and 27th for riders 5 years and up. Paper tickets will not be accepted on those days, but you can use your regular Freedom pass and will be charged $2.50 per ride. Trains will run every 16 minutes and you can only board at Lindenwold, Woodcrest, Ferry Avenue and Broadway stations in NJ and travel to the 9th/10th and Locust stations in Philadelphia. The Delaware County District Attorney's office announced on Thursday that a Villanova man has been arrested for possessing child pornography. 68-year-old John Francis Steele of the 200 block of Sproul Road in Radnor Township was charged with the dissemination of child pornography, sexual abuse of children and criminal use of a communications facility. Authorities discovered over 2,000 videos and images that depict minors engaged in sexual acts on a computer seized in January. There were also 80,000 other images on the computer that haven't been classified as child pornography. Steele's bail has been set at $50,000 with the provision that he has no contact with minors and no access to the Internet.
