4th of July Weekend in Philadelphia; $5000 Reward Camden Shooting; Arrest in Bridesburg Shooting

It's 4th of July Weekend in Philadelphia and the Welcome America! Festival continues. The Philly POPS! perform tonight at Independence Hall. Tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. there will be the Celebration of Freedom Ceremony on the steps of Independence Hall followed by the parade at 11 a.m. The annual ringing of the Liberty Bell will take place at 1 p.m. The Birthday Party with Termini Bros. cake and 2,500 cupcakes will also be held at 1 p.m. at 6th and Market. The Party on the Parkway along Benjamin Franklin Parkway runs from Noon - 7 p.m. The street festival has games, activities, music, food, interactive exhibits and more. The party is followed by the 4th of July Jam on the steps of the Art Museum. This year's acts include The Roots, Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland, Miguel, MKTO, Zella Day and Twin Ghost. Police in Camden County have identified a suspect in Wednesday night's shooting of a police officer. Authorities are looking for 21-year-old Victor Bennett of Camden. Around 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday night police say that he opened fire on the officer's vehicle as it drove by on Kenwood Ave hitting it several times. Officer Prince Reed was hit in the arm by a bullet fragment. Reed pursued but Bennett got away. He was later treated at Cooper University Hospital for his injuries. There is now a $5000 reward for information leading to his arrest. Bennett is described as a black male, 6'2", 195 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He also has distinctive facial tattoos (see picture below). He should be considered armed and dangerous. Philadelphia police have arrested a suspect in connection with a fatal shooting in Bridesburg on Thursday afternoon. It happened around 1:30 p.m. on the 2800 block of Orthodox Street. 21-year-old Daniel Santiago of Frankford was shot multiple times. He was taken to Temple University Hospital and pronounced dead. Shortly after the shooting, police caught up to a man on the 4600 block of Edgemont Street, about a half-mile away, fitting the description of the shooter. He was carrying a firearm. 18-year-old Robert Diluzio was positively identified by witnesses (see photo below). He is charged with murder, violation of uniform act, robbery, and related offenses. There is no word on a motive for the shooting.
