I-95 Chase Ends in Crash, Kensington Shooting, Roosevelt Boulevard Hit and Run

A driver led police on a wild chase late Tuesday night that ended with a big crash in Philadelphia. It began in Bensalem, when a driver led police on a pursuit onto I-95 and into Northeast Philadelphia, eventually ending when the suspect crashed the vehicle. Police have arrested two suspects. No injuries have been reported, and it's unclear right now what prompted the chase.

Philadelphia police believe a shooting in the Kensington section of Philadelphia may have started as a robbery attempt. It happened around 12:30am Wednesday on the 1900 block of East Firth Street. The victim was shot in both legs and is in stable condition at Temple Hospital.

A hit-and-run early Wednesday morning on the Roosevelt Boulevard has left a man in critical condition with several broken bones. Police are now searching for the driver who struck him. A 25-year-old man was struck by a black or dark-colored vehicle, possibly a Honda or Acura, just after 1:30am Wednesday on Roosevelt Blvd and Front Street in Feltonville. He was rushed to Einstein Hospital, unconscious. He suffered head trauma and broken bones. Police say the impact caused the victim to somehow come out of both of his shoes. The vehicle was last seen heading northbound after striking the victim.
