Two people have been arrested in connection with a man found dead inside a suitcase near Philadelphia International Airport last month. 41-year-old Scott Bernheisel was found stuffed inside a suitcase by a man walking his dog in Tinicum Township on May 28th. Police determined that Bernheisel was beaten to death inside a home on the 200 block of Wilder Street back on May 22nd. They arrested 25-year-old Thomas Brennan of Folsom, Pa. and 27-year-old Crystal Leibhart of Philadelphia. Both Brennan and Bernheisel periodically stayed at that address. Authorities say Brennan murdered and robbed Bernheisel and dumped his body. He is charged with Murder, Robbery, Criminal Conspiracy, Abuse of Corpse and related offenses. Leibhart is charged with Robbery, Hindering Apprehension, Obstructing Justice and related offenses.

Firefighters in Hamilton Township, Mercer County, had to battle a 5-alarm fire along a stretch of 2-story row homes. The fire started at about 4:45 p.m. Monday at the 1700 block of East State Street. At least 8 homes are on fire. There is no word on any injuries.

Police in Salem County, NJ, have made an arrest in the hit-and-run accident that left 17-year-old Kyle Pszenny critically injured over the weekend. Kyle was riding his skateboard home along North Hook Road in Pennsville early Sunday morning when he was hit. The driver did not stop. Police located the vehicle, a Hyundai Accent with front end damage, this afternoon in Pennsville. They also say that the driver turned himself in to authorities and made a full confession on video tape. 23-year-old Zachary McDonough is charged with aggravated assault by auto. Kyle is still in critical condition but is making progress. His high school will be holding a vigil on Tuesday, June 9th at 8 p.m. in Lou D’Angelo Stadium.

A man has been arrested for breaking into two South Philadelphia homes and sexually assaulting one victim and attempting to assault another. 32-year-old Raheem Felder of the 1300 block of Chadwick Street was taken into custody last Thursday. Early in the morning on Memorial Day, Felder is accused of entering his victim's home, taking her keys and stealing her car. He then returned to the residence, demanded money, and then sexually assaulted her. This happened on South Rosewood Street in Point Breeze. Back in March he broke into a home on Chadwick Street and attempted to attack a female. An anonymous tipster saw him on surveillance footage released by the media and called police. He is charged with aggravated assault, rape, sexual assault, burglary, robbery, unlawful restraint, indecent exposure, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, and false imprisonment.
