$10k Reward Point Breeze Attacker; CDC: 150 Poss. Exposed to Lassa; Kelly Says McCoy is Wrong

There is now a $10,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of a man wanted for the sexual assault of a woman inside her Point Breeze home early Monday morning. It happened around 5:30 a.m. on the 1800 block of Rosewood Street. Surveillance videos show the man entering the victims home and then leaving and driving her car a few blocks away. He returned to the house demanded money and sexually assaulted the woman. The man is described as a black man, 20 to 30-years-old, about 6 foot to 6â€™2 with a medium build. He was wearing black clothes and had red gloves. Authorities believe he is the same suspect from another assault nearby on Chadwick Street in March. The CDC and New Jersey Department of Health have identified more than 150 people who may have had contact with a patient that died from Lassa Fever. The New Jersey man died on Monday after returning from West Africa. A CDC spokesman said that most of those people face no danger. Six are at a high risk of being exposed and 33 are at a low risk. The disease is less likely to be fatal than Ebola and can't be spread from casual contact. It is spread by contact with blood, feces or vomit of an infected person or infected rodent droppings. All of the people identified are being monitored.

Several weeks ago, former Eagles' running back LeSean McCoy insinuated to ESPN The Magazine that Chip Kelly had a racial motive behind this off-season's roster moves. â€œYou see how fast he got rid of all the good players,â€ McCoy said. â€œEspecially all the good black players. He got rid of them the fastest.â€ Kelly addressed the issue for the first time today on the third day of OTAs. â€œIâ€™ve got great respect for LeSean, however in that situation I think heâ€™s wrong,â€ Kelly said. â€œWe put a lot of time in looking at the characters and factors that go into the selection and retention of players, and color has never been one of them.â€ Kelly went on to mention that he's reached out to McCoy and his agent since the trade to Buffalo and has not heard back.
