Pope Francis is coming to Philadelphia at the end of September. Philadelphia's Archbishop Charles Chaput says he hasn't received the official word yet from the Vatican, but he’s already planning on hosting Pope Francis at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in Lower Merion. Chaput says it's customary for the pope to stay with the bishop of a diocese when he visits. Since Chaput lives at the seminary, the plans are in high gear there to make the pope’s two-day stay as comfortable as possible. Chaput says the Secret Service will be in charge of the pope’s security during his visit, including watching over the Holy Father as he sleeps and takes his meals at the seminary.

A local hospital has become the first in Bucks County to offer free wigs to cancer patients, thanks to the American Cancer Society. The wigs are free and come in all styles and colors, according to Jeanette Stemen, director of the oncology program at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. She adds that wigs can be expensive and may not be covered by insurance, so getting one for free can be a huge benefit. You don’t have to be getting treatment at St. Mary or even in Bucks County.

Avengers: Age of Ultron followed up its monster box office opening weekend with another strong showing on the summer movie season’s second weekend. The superhero fantasy sequel earned an estimated $77-million on its second weekend, pushing its cumulative total over the $300-million mark. A distant second place was claimed by the debuting action comedy, Hot Pursuit, starring Reese Witherspoon and Sofia Vergara. It took in an opening-weekend total of $13-million. Rounding out the top five with modest returns of about $5-million each were holdovers The Age of Adaline, Furious 7, and Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2.
