A Philadelphia man is now facing an attempted murder charge after it was added at a preliminary hearing today in King of Prussia. 22-year-old Kymere Corbin is accused of shooting his father, 42-year-old Elbert Corbin, Jr., from the back seat of a car while they were driving on the Schuylkill Expressing through West Conshohocken earlier this month. The father was able to stop the car safely on the highway despite being shot in the face. His mother was riding in the passenger seat. Kymere also faces weapons and assault charges. The Commonwealth agreed to reduce Corbin's bail to $250,000 to get him out of maximum security and allow visits from his mother who was barred because she was a witness. His parent's were driving him to an inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation center to get treatment for addiction and mental health issues at the time of the shooting.

Authorities in Camden County say that a fetus found at a New Jersey recycling plant was not capable of breathing and died of extreme immaturity. The female baby was about 19 weeks old. The fetus was discovered on a conveyor belt by a worker at the ReCommunity Camden recycling plant on Mount Ephraim Avenue around 3 p.m. Thursday. Both the Camden County Prosecutors and the Camden Metro police are investigating. They are looking for any information that could help them figure out how the fetus got to the facility. Call the prosecutor’s office at 856-225-8694 or the police at 856-757-7420.

Two people have been charged with prostitution and other offenses after being caught having sex next to a crowded Little League field in Oaklyn, Camden County. It happened around 6:45 p.m. Tuesday evening at Lyons Park behind the Oaklyn Public School. Two off-duty police officers who were coaching T-ball noticed a couple engaged in inappropriate behavior. One approached the two while the other called for backup. The man took off in a vehicle leaving the female at the scene. 24-year-old Dayna L. Silverman of Oaklyn was arrested for Prostitution, Lewdness, Disorderly Conduct and Trespassing. Her bail was set at $5,000 and she was remanded to Camden County Jail. An investigation determined the man was 56-year-old Charles E. Reynolds of Mantua, NJ. He voluntarily turned himself into police this week. Reynolds was also charged with Prostitution, Lewdness, Disorderly Conduct and Trespassing. He was released on his own recognizance. (see pictures below)
