On Monday, the State Attorney's Office in Florida released a statement clearing Eagles safety Nate Allen of any wrongdoing in connection to a charge of indecent exposure following an incident that occurred in Fort Myers on February 16th. According to the State Attorney's Office, a 16-year old female called authorities after witnessing a man expose himself in a pickup truck on the afternoon of February 16th. Allen was mistakenly identified as the suspect and was detained by authorities. The State Attorney's Office concluded that Allen was at a Red Lobster restaurant at the time the offense occurred.

A bill creating the offense of cyber harassment of a child in Pennsylvania has the overwhelming approval of the state House of Representatives.
The bill passed Monday, 193-to-5, and goes to the Senate for consideration. Under the bill, cyber harassment of a child would be a third-degree misdemeanor and a perpetrator under 18 would be under the jurisdiction of juvenile court. The bill defines the crime as being committed with an intent to harass, annoy or alarm by using electronic social media to disparage the child’s health, characteristics, sexuality or sexual activity, or to threaten harm. A third-degree misdemeanor allows for a maximum of one year in prison.

Lawyers for Pennsylvania’s attorney general say the judge who supervised a grand jury that’s recommended charges against her should be removed from any future proceedings in the matter. Attorney General Kathleen Kane’s legal team argued in a filing with the state Supreme Court on Monday that Montgomery County Judge William Carpenter has demonstrated personal animosity toward her. The latest filing comes about a week after Carpenter defended the legality of his appointment of a special prosecutor to investigate allegations that secret grand jury material was leaked to a Philadelphia newspaper last year.
