A fire breather at the Philadelphia Tattoo Arts Convention accidentally set himself on fire during a performance on Sunday afternoon by the Ink Illusionists. The incident caught on video, happened around 3:00 pm at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Center City. As the performer went to blow flames, fire jumped to his chest and spread to the floor. He was able to put himself out and others quashed the flames on the floor with a table. The fire department did not respond. There was minimal damage and the performer was not injured. The entire incident was caught on video by Jeff Hurd who was watching the show. Watch the clip below:

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia has announced that all parish and regional elementary schools in the city will be closed on Monday due to the cold. Temperatures in the city are expected to be a record low 0 degrees Monday morning with wind chills -10 to -20 below. Archdiocesan high schools were already scheduled to be closed for students on this holiday for a staff development day. According to officials, that training will still take place as scheduled and teachers should plan to report. There is another threat of snow coming into the area Monday night through Tuesday morning with 4-6” expected right now. That could keep schools closed another day, stretching the weekend even longer. With the bitter cold settling in, stay in, stay warm, and check on those who may need help.

A woman was found dead lying in the snow early Sunday morning in her South Jersey town home community. 66-year-old Olivia Benito was discovered around 7 am by her neighbor while she was clearing snow off her car. The two women had gone to a benefit the night before, where authorities say Benito had several alcoholic drinks. After the benefit they returned to the neighbor's house for short time. Benito left to go home around midnight, she lived two doors away. Benito's husband assumed that his wife decided to stay at their friend's for the night. There were not signs of trauma and a cause of death was not immediately apparent. Police say that foul play in not suspected. At the time Benito began to walk home, the outside temperatures were in the single digits and wind chills below zero with gusty winds. The investigation continues and awaits autopsy results.
