A 15-year-old boy from Montgomery County suspected of having the measles has been cleared of having the disease, health officials said Sunday. The teen had presented symptoms of the disease and was self-isolating at home while specimens were being tested. The Montgomery County Department of Health said that after extensive analyzing they determined the boy does not have the measles virus. The tests also show that he has previously been inoculated against the virus. Despite no immediate threat of measles in Montgomery County, the state Department of Health and the Montgomery County Health Department urge parents to immunize their children.

A 19-year-old man's posts on Instagram and Facebook may had led a group of three armed, masked men to kick in his apartment door early Sunday morning looking to rob the teen. It happened around 2:30 a.m. Sunday on the unit block of Brookshire Terrace in the Somerton section of Philadelphia. The 19-year-old had just received an inheritance of jewelry including a Rolex watch and posted about it on the social media sites. The three men barged into the the apartment and demanded the goods seen in those posts. Another teen in the house called 911 from the bathroom, but the burglars jumped out a rear window before the cops arrived. The suspects are described as: a black male, 5'10”, muscular build, wearing a black ski mask. A black or Latino male, 5'8”, medium build, wearing a black ski mask. A white male, 6'1, 170 to 180 pounds, in a black ski mask, and a light blue hooded sweatshirt.

A female student was found dead in her dorm room Sunday at Millersville University. The Lancaster County coroner's office pronounced the freshman student dead early Sunday morning. The cause of death is under investigation. An autopsy is scheduled Monday. The school released the following statement:

It is with much sadness that I write to inform you of a student death on campus this morning. The cause of death is under investigation. There is no threat to our community.

The student's parents and siblings have been notified and have asked that we not share the student's name until they have had an opportunity to notify extended family.

Students personally impacted by the loss are encouraged to seek support. Counseling services as well as spiritual guidance through campus ministries is available to all students. Counselors are on campus today and will be available throughout the coming week. For more information on counseling services contact 717-872-3122 or visit the 3rd floor of Lyle Hall.
