Winter Weather Advisory; McDonald's Robbers Sought; Pedestrian Killed on I-495 in DE

There is a Nor'easter gathering moisture and heading up the east coast and it will bring snow to the Philadelphia region starting as early as 9 tonight to the south. We do not have arctic air in place so by Saturday morning we will likely see a changeover to rain before it ends Saturday evening. 3 inches around Philly, North and West of the city will see mostly snow. Up to 6 inches in the Lehigh Valley.

Police are still looking for two men who robbed a McDonald's restaurant in the Rhawnhurst section of Philadelphia. On December 11 at 4:15 pm, two armed males entered a McDonald's restaurant on 7613 Castor Avenue with their hoods up. After ordering employees to go to the rear of the restaurant they forced the manager to take them to the safe and ordered the manager to put the store's money inside a black book bag. A pedestrian died Thursday evening after he was struck by multiple vehicles - all of which left the scene - on Interstate 495 in northern Delaware. State Police said the man was trying to cross the northbound lanes near Edgemoor Road when he was struck by the first car shortly before 8 p.m. The pedestrian was knocked to the ground and then struck by several other vehicles according to police.
