In the Poconos, schools are closed today as police shift their search after another reported sighting of the suspect in a deadly state police ambush. Police reported seeing suspect Eric Frein near the Swiftwater Post Office in the Pocono Mountains, leading to an intensive police search. The post office is near Pocono Mountain East High School, where he was spotted Friday night. Frein has remained on the loose for more than a month despite the intense manhunt. Over the weekend police say they have put a "tremendous amount of pressure on him" and likely forced him to move.

A new Philadelphia law went into place yesterday allowing police officers to issue a ticket, rather than an arrest, for possession of small amounts of marijuana. A quantity of up to 30 grams will only result in a $25 citation. The penalty for public use of the drug will result in up to nine hours of community service or a $100 fine. The move is intended to free up costly court time associated with minor pot offenses.

A former Lafayette College student pleaded guilty Monday to his role in a drug organization that sold to high school and college students along the prestigious Main Line. John Cole Roseman, now 21 from Connecticut, admitted to misdemeanor charges of buying marijuana. He will be sentenced later date and could face up to eight years in prison. Assistant District Attorney Tonya Lupinacci said after court that Rosemann bought from Neil Scott, one of the alleged ringleaders in the drug scheme.
