PA Colleges Top Rankings; Lesean McCoy Leaves 20 cent Tip; Ray Rice Could Return

Pennsylvania colleges and universities grabbed top spots in the U.S. News and World Report 2015 Best Colleges rankings. The University of Pennsylvania fell a spot from last year, earning the No. 8 spot. Other Pennsylvania schools making the Top 50: Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh at 25; Lehigh University in Bethlehem at 40 and Penn State ranked 48. On the Liberal Arts Colleges list, Swarthmore College came in at No. 3, while Haverford College tied for the No. 8 spot. Also in the Top 50 were Bryn Mawr College, Bucknell University, Lafayette, Dickinson, Franklin and Marshall and Gettysburg.

Philadelphia Eagles star running back, Lesean McCoy is getting some social media flack for leaving a 20 cent tip on a $60 check at a Northern Liberties burger joint. According to the owner of PYT, Shady McCoy and some buddies got exemplary service from his staff but were verbally abusive to his servers and when they left, the multi-million dollar running back left a tip of 20 cents.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell left the door open for Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice to return to play after serving a suspension for domestic violence. In an interview with CBS Goodell said "he would have to make sure that we are fully confident that he is addressing this issue clearly," After the video released showing Rice knocking his wife unconscious with one punch, Rice was released by the Ravens and suspended by the NFL. Rice also lost product endorsement contracts worth $1.6 million.
