2nd Suspect ID'd Grays Ferry Shooting; Philly's Taney Dragons Are Hot; PF Changs Local Data Breach

Philadelphia Police have released the identity of the man they believe was the gunman in Friday night's shooting that killed an innocent 3-year-old girl and injured 3 adults in Grays Ferry. Police are looking for 22-year-old Brandon Ruffin whose last known address was on the 2300 block of Wharton Street. Ruffin was riding on the handlebars of the bicycle of 22-year-old Douglas Woods, who is already in custody, when they arrived at the scene on the 1500 block of Etting Street. At 9:40 pm the two men were arguing with another 24-year-old man when Ruffin allegedly opened fire on him hitting the man in the head. He is in critical condition. Stray bullets hit 3-year-old Tynirah Borum who was sitting on a porch. Two other adults were also shot. Tynirah died at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. The two adults are recovering. Woods has been charged with murder, three counts of attempted murder, aggravated assault and related offenses. Ruffin should be considered armed and dangerous. UPDATE 10:39pm: 22-year-old Brandon Ruffin has been arrested and is in police custody. U.S. Marshals arrested Ruffin just before 10 pm Monday after executing a search warrant at a home on the 5600 block of Lloyd Street in the Germantown section of the city.

The Taney Dragons baseball team from Philadelphia is making waves early on the Mid-Atlantic Regionals of Little League World Series. Last week the team won the Pennsylvania Little League State Championship and are now representing PA playing against the state champions from NY, NJ, DC, DE, and MD. The Dragons are already off to a great start in round robin play beating Maryland 11-1 on Saturday and Delaware 8-4 on Sunday. All games are being played up in Bristol, CT. The ethnically diverse team of 11 and 12-year-old all-stars from all over the city represents Philadelphia to a tee. Their stand out pitcher â€“ a girl - Mo'ne Davis mowed down the competition from Newark, DE yesterday with 10 strikeouts. She was only pulled after reaching the 85 pitch limit and will be available again on Friday if they reach the semi-final round. Their next game is Tuesday, August 5th vs NY at 7pm. Three local restaurants are among 33 identified today by a popular restaurant chain involved in a security data breach this past spring. P.F. Chang's announced in June that credit and debit card data used at some of it's restaurants was stolen. Today it released the list of the affected locations and three are in the Philadelphia area. Those locations are in Collegeville, Glen Mills, and Princeton. The data stolen includes the credit card number and in some instances the card holder's name and/or the expiration date. P.F. Chang's says has contained the security breach as of June 11. If you patronized one of these establishments you should check your bank records and perhaps get a free credit report.
