North Philly Carjacking Crash Suspects in Custody; Rita's in Wilmington Robbed; Eagles Open Practice

Police say they have two persons of interest in custody in connection with a deadly carjacking and hit-and-run crash that killed three children in North Philadelphia. Police were questioning two people about the incident at police headquarters. There was no initial word on any charges and the identities of the two people in custody were not immediately released.

Wilmington Police are investigating an armed robbery of a Rita's Water Ice on Saturday night. At 7:45 pm, the male suspect entered the Rita's with a t-shirt covering his face and armed with a knife. He demanded money of the 20-year-old female and 18-year-old male employees. They handed over an unspecified amount of cash. The suspect fled on foot. He is described as a white male between 20-25 years of age, 5' 7", and 140-150 lbs. He was wearing a t-shirt, black shorts and dark shirt covering his face.

The Philadelphia Eagles will hold the first of three open practices of training camp on Monday at Lincoln Financial Field. Practice begins at 12:15pm. The practice is free of charge, general admission, and does not require a ticket. Parking is also free and lots open at 9 am.
