Swarthmore Grad Jeopardy Winner, Upper Darby Teens Beat and Rob 11 Year Old, Red Cross Struggling

A Swarthmore College graduate has been piling up his winnings on TV's Jeopardy. Arthur Chu, now 30 years old, has reached third on the show's list of money winners excluding special tournaments. As of Friday's show, Chu has accumulated $261,000 in winnings. Chu says he maintains an edge by jumping around categories while he controls the board.

Upper Darby police are looking for four boys believed to have beaten and robbed an 11 year old who was buying dinner for his mother at a local grocery store. The group of teenage boys attacked the 11 year old outside the A&F market and stole the two $4 dinners he had just bought for his mother. The store owner says the four boys jumped the 11 year old, beat him, took the dinners and left him lying on the ground on Long Lane.

The Philadelphia Red Cross has been incredibly busy this winter. Struggling to keep up during one of the worst winters on record, the Red Cross has been dealing with an unusually high number of fires related to the cold or power outages. The Red Cross says this winter is costing the agency 3 to 5 percent more than expected.
