Car Crash / Gas Leak Darby; Four Man Break-In Ambler; Autopsy inconclusive in Washington, NJ

A car crash this afternoon in Delaware County caused a gas leak and evacuation. The incident happened around 4:15 p.m on the 400 block of Darby Terrace in Darby, PA. A woman trying to parallel park hit the gas pedal instead of the brake and accelerated into a house hitting the gas meter. Dozens of homes in the area were evacuated as a precaution. PECO was called to the scene to repair the gas line and metere. People have since been allowed to return to their home.

Lower Gwynedd Police are on the lookout for four men after a home invasion in Ambler on Friday night. It happened at around midnight last night. The suspects entered the home on the 1400 block of Sloan Way, three of them were armed with handguns. First they entered the daughter's room while she was sleeping and bound her with duct tape. They then went to the next room and tied up the parents. The daughter had gotten free and dialed 911. The suspects, realizing this, returned to her room and pistol-whipped her over the head with the gun. They escaped out a bedroom window with some cash. They are described as thin-built, black men, wearing dark clothes, gloves and masks. Anyone with information is asked to call the Lower Gwynedd Police Department at 215-646-5303.

Authorities are still unsure of the cause of death of a man whose skeletal remains were found in a wooded area behind his South Jersey apartment complex earlier this year. The autopsy of 62-year-old Michael Miller could not determine a cause of death. Miller's remains were found this October by someone walking through the woods behind the Washington Way Apartments in Washington Township, NJ. Miller had been missing for nearly a year. He had lived alone. His car was still parked at his apartment and his cellphone was left inside the apartment. Miller was identified through medical records and jewelry.
