Boy Killed on ATV, Struck by Truck; Christiana Mall Power Restored; Parent's of Marine Sue Greece

An 11-year-old boy has died after an ATV he was using to pull a sled was struck by a snow plow. The boy was not named, but was a 5th grader at Logan Elementary school in Gloucester County. It happened Tuesday at around 4:30pm. They were using the ATV to pull a sled around the snowy fields. At one point they pulled onto Oak Grove Road. A dump truck equipped with a snow plow was traveling eastbound on the road and collided with the ATV. A 13-year-old girl was also riding on the vehicle and was hurt. Two girls, 12 and 13, were on the sled but were not hurt. Police are still investigating.

Parent's of a U.S. Marine claim that their son's heart was harvested during an illegal autopsy in Greece and have now added the Greek government to a lawsuit today. Craig and Beverly LaLoup, of Coatesville, PA, had filed a lawsuit in federal court last Friday against the U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Navy and U.S. government for negligence, emotional distress and alleged mistreatment of their sonâ€™s body. The family contends that an illegal autopsy was conducted on their son U.S. Marine Sgt. Brian LaLoup following his suicide inside the U.S. Embassy in Athens, Greece in 2012. Sometime during that autopsy, his heart was removed and never replaced. The couple only found out about the missing heart after Sgt. LaLoup had been laid to rest.

Power has been restored to the Christiana Mall in Delaware after a partial power outage left most of the mall dark all day long. Power went out at 10 a.m. and wasn't turned back on until just after 5 p.m. About 100 stores including the food court were affected. The major department stores were not impacted as well as some larger restaurants. The mall suffered a similar power outage on Black Friday though that only lasted a half hour.

Pope Francis has been chosen as TIME magazine's â€œPerson of the Yearâ€. The magazine had considered others including NSA leaker Edward Snowden, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, U.S. Senator Ted Cruz from Texas and Miley Cyrus.
