Motorists who drive too fast on Kelly Drive will now trigger the red light at Fountain Green. The city has installed sensors in the road in hopes of slowing traffic down from its average 55 mph, to the actual speed limit, 35 mph. The speed sensors are about a half mile north of the Girard Avenue Bridge. Previously, the light would only turn red if a car was waiting to turn onto Kelly Drive or a pedestrian pushed the crosswalk button.

The giant Pong video game that played on the side of the 29 story Cira Center last Spring is now in the Guinness book of world records. Frank Lee, a professor at Drexel recreated the classic video game making the skyscraper a 60,000 square foot screen with its embedded LED lights. The paddles bouncing the ball back and forth were controlled by a player with a joystick about a mile away. The record is for the largest architectural video game display.
