A man charged in the death of a Philadelphia motorcycle police officer last July has decided to plead guilty today. 47-year-old John Leck Jr. of Levittown was about to go to trial for the July 8, 2012 murder of Officer Brian Lorenzo. Leck had been driving the wrong way on I-95 when he struck and killed Lorenzo who was on his motorcycle and in uniform after his shift. Leck's blood alcohol level's were nearly 3 times the legal limit. His open plea is for third degree murder and related offenses. Leck faces a maximum sentence of 25-50 years in prison. Sentencing is December 2nd.

A South Carolina teen has been arrested for posting threatening messages online against a Delaware High School. The 17-year-old boy was charged Tuesday in Charleston, S.C., with unlawful communication and third-degree computer crime. The threat was directed towards Concord High School in Brandywine Hundred. The message that was posted on the website 'Edmodo' read, "Don't come to school Monday." It included a photo from the 1999 Columbine school massacre. It also said, "why build for something you're already prepared for, Concord School Massacre 2013." Delaware state police investigated the case with Charleston Police. Police could not find a connection between the teen and Concord High School or Delaware.

One of the three students involved in a school bus attack caught on video in now in police custody on assault charges. The assault was captured on cell phone video on a van ride home from The Delaware County Alternative High School on Oct. 9 and posted on Facebook. 17-year-old Dylan Fonner sustained injuries including chipped teeth and bumps and bruises. His friend also suffered injuries. Their parents are demanding the attackers face criminal charges including the bus driver who did nothing and did not report the incident. It will be up to the District Attorney whether to prosecute them as adults of juveniles. Police are still looking for the other attackers.

Partly Cloudy, temperatures in the mid 60's this evening in Center City.
