Turner Field Fan Falls, Philadelphia ATM Robberies, Emergency Landing on Route 1 in Delaware

Atlanta fire officials say a man has been hospitalized after falling from the stands at Turner Field during last nights Phillies-Braves game. The unidentified man fell 30 to 40 feet and was listed in serious condition at a local hospital. Details on exactly how the man fell and what part of the stadium the incident occurred in werenâ€™t immediately available. The game was delayed by about an hour and 45 minutes past its scheduled start time because of heavy rains.

Authorities are looking into a string of at least 10 attempted burglaries of ATMs and drug stores throughout Philadelphia. The burglars have not had a high success rate, but Philadelphia Police say they keep on trying. The suspects have succeeded in taking money or drugs in two of their attempts. The same crew is accused of 10 different burglaries, and the crooks are trying to break into ATMs with blowtorches.

Officials say a Dover Air Force Base plane made an emergency landing on Route 1 in Delaware Monday night. A U.S. Air Force Aero Club Cessna aircraft made an emergency landing in an open field, southwest of the approach lights to the runway near Dover Air Force Base. Police say after the plane landed in the field, it crashed through a fence and onto Route 1 where it came to a controlled stop without striking any vehicles.
