Woodcrest Country Club New Owners, Cooper Nurse Attacked, Oklahoma City Tornado

The Woodcrest Country Club in Cherry Hill will soon have new owners. Cherry Hill Land Associates won the property for $10.1 million. They were among four major bidders that attended the private auction in Center City on Monday morning. The group has not commented on what they would do with the 155 acres of land, but folks living near the country club say they hope it doesn't become housing or retail space.

Police say a nurse was attacked by a woman at Cooper University Hospital Monday afternoon. Monique Moore, of Camden, was walking by the hospital when she allegedly began yelling at a nurse who was standing outside in a courtyard on break. Moore allegedly charged at the victim, grabbed her and began punching her in the head and face while allegedly yelling angrily about the medical profession. Moore then smashed the victimâ€™s face into a brick wall. Moore has been charged with third degree aggravated assault.

At least 51 dead after a massive tornado ripped through Moore, OK, a suburb of Oklahoma City, on Monday. Oklahoma officials say they expect the death toll to climb as they look for survivors of the 200-mph twister; There are over 60 injured, including children. The tornado funnel stretched over a mile wide and flattened everything in it's path, including Towers Plaza Elementary School. Responders and rescuers are still working across the massive damage area.
