A Toms River father has been arrested and charged with endangerment in connection with the fatal shooting of a 6-year-old boy by his 4-year-old son. Anthony Senatore was arrested Monday night for having multiple unsecured weapons accessible to children. On April 8th, the Prosecutor's Office says the 4-year-old boy allegedly gained access to an unsecured .22 caliber rifle in Senatore’s bedroom and fired a single shot, striking his 6-year-old neighbor in the head. The 6-year-old boy was transported to the Jersey Shore University Medical Center where he later died of his injuries. Senatore is being held at the Ocean County Jail on $100,000 cash or bond bail.

Prosecutors in suburban Philadelphia say no homicide charges will be filed in the death of a teenager weeks after a brief altercation at school. Delaware County District Attorney Jack Whelan told reporters Monday that an autopsy on 12-year-old Bailey O’Neill showed no evidence that trauma played any role in his March 3 death. The boy lapsed into a coma following seizures that family members said they believed were related to the Jan. 10 scuffle at a school in Darby Township. A spokesman for the Philadelphia medical examiner’s office said Monday that the boy’s death stemmed from seizures of undetermined cause. Whelan said the other boy would be charged with simple assault in juvenile court.

A Philadelphia drug lord is found guilty in the witness retaliation murder of a North Philadelphia family, and other killings dating back to 1998. His sister and two other men also have been convicted on serious charges. The federal jury says Kaboni Savage committed or directed murders – 12 of them, including the deaths of four kids and two adults in their firebombed home nine years ago – retaliation for a former gang associate who’d been helping the FBI.
